This page explains which personal data Éire i mo chroí may process, why it is used and what rights you have. The website is designed to keep data collection to the minimum necessary.

Data that may be processed
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address, consent choice, confirmation and unsubscribe status, and the technical data needed to operate the service and demonstrate consent will be processed.
Technical data
The hosting servers may record technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, server response and browser information for operation and security.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, optional subject, message and the technical data strictly necessary to send it and prevent misuse will be processed. The data is sent directly to hello@eireimochroi.com and is not stored in a website database.
Purposes and legal bases
Replying to messages
Data is used to read your request and reply. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps where applicable, or the controller’s legitimate interest in managing communications.
Sending the newsletter
Stories, poems and project news are sent only after your explicit consent. Subscription is confirmed by a separate email and consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Keeping the site secure
Strictly necessary technical data is used to deliver pages, prevent errors and detect misuse, on the basis of technical necessity and legitimate interest.
Whether data must be provided
Using the contact form, sending an email and subscribing to the newsletter are optional. The form cannot be sent without a name, email address and message; without an email address, it is not possible to reply or complete a subscription. Newsletter data will not be used for other purposes, and subscribing is never required to read the website.
Data controller
The data controller is Luca Forzin, a natural person who operates publicly under the pen name “Taylor Nivienne”.

How long data is kept
- Email messages are kept for up to 12 months from the last useful communication, unless a legal obligation or the defence of a right requires a different period.
- Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Minimal evidence of consent and unsubscription may be retained for as long as necessary to meet legal obligations or defend a claim.
- Technical hosting logs are retained according to the periods necessary for the service, security and applicable rules.
Providers, recipients and transfers
Aruba S.p.A.
Aruba will host the website and may process technical data and server logs to provide, maintain and protect the service.
Kit, Inc. (formerly ConvertKit)
Kit manages newsletter subscription, confirmation, delivery and unsubscription as a data processor. It is a United States company and data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its Data Processing Agreement, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Other recipients
Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with strictly necessary providers, advisers bound by confidentiality, or authorities where required by law.
Audio players and external platforms
The Spotify player is not loaded automatically. A notice is shown first, and the connection to Spotify is made only if you choose to continue. At that point Spotify may process technical data, such as your IP address and device or browser information, and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy.
Simple links to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music or Audible, YouTube or YouTube Music, Pocket Casts and Castbox do not contact those platforms until you choose to open them. After opening a link, the relevant provider’s privacy policy applies. The website does not permanently store your choice to load the player.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data; you may object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
To exercise your rights, write to hello@eireimochroi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Security and updates
Technical and organisational measures proportionate to the nature of the data and the risks are adopted. This notice may be updated if the site, its providers or applicable rules change. The latest date will always be shown at the top of this page.
