Poem
Sounds of Autumn
Wind, rain and amber leaves compose a song that leads the heart back home.
The autumn wind begins to sing, through amber leaves on wandering wing. It brushes heather, bends the trees, and whispers secrets to the seas.
The rain taps softly on the glass, like distant footsteps as they pass. The scent of earth, the breath of rain, awaken dreams that still remain.
Beyond the hills, the rivers flow, beneath a sky of silver glow. The mist descends, the valleys sleep, while ancient stones their silence keep.
A peat fire crackles in the night, its golden embers warm and bright. A cup of tea, a gentle flame, and memories that have no name.
The leaves fall softly, one by one, beneath the fading autumn sun. Yet in their dance, so wild and free, they sing of what will always be.
For every ending leaves a sound, a whispered promise in the ground. And when the winds of autumn roam, my heart remembers where it's home.
